Between The Sheets Of Love TORN Asunder...

I have yet to announce my Publishing company... I will be releasing my first Manuscript "Love TORN Asunder" with none other the Emerald Star Press. Under Destiny Carter guidance I am finally going to have my book available to the Public...

This is an exciting and scary experience.

Although I have found a company that I feel will assist me on the next step in my Journey... There is STILL alot of work to be done.Now more then before I have to utilize my networking and get the word out about my soon to be released novel and Blog.

Because this is so important to me, I can't drop the ball in the last ending.

As an author... I have to get a game plan together to MARKET myself. The thought of that alone is daunting to me. You see I feel like my passion behind this book and the story I have written sells itself. BUT... If no one knows you and you have no audience. You will have a Beautiful collection of work that YOU alone are only privy to.

When I began this Process, it was all about getting to the finish line. Just finishing the book. A book that I knew was entertaining and told a story. I knew that it had to all the elements I look for in a book. Character development, a story that is relate-able to some and just entertaining to others,and Intrigue. I believe that I have capture all these elements between the sheets of "Love TORN Asunder".

I am currently working on my website and that will be available soon.... I have some EXCITING plans in place for the release of my Website and the April release of my Novel.

My book will be available for pre-orders and packages THERE! My dream is becoming a reality and I want to THANK everyone that supports this project. I believe that will be evident when my website goes up. In March I have a few surprises in store... I hope to see you ALL there.

These are the question I am asking myself as this year comes to end... I have made some changes that have change my life and the lives of my children of the better.

I am on mission to continue my up hill climb... To take time to relax in my blessing.

Calling On HIS Name!

I loathed myself... I didn t know anyone that hated themselves as much as I did... I hid it so well... I am sure that I revealed my secreat a time or two under the guise of disguise... But... the sacaszim that ripped through the atmospher from my tougue that was dripping with lies all flowed from a mouth that was lined with a smile...

I had to play it close to the vest... My no-nonsense attitude wore like armour protecting my chest... That housed a bleeding heart that pumped out more fear than anything else...

I had to keep it hidden under the surface... just enough so I felt it pulsating through my veins... seeping from my lungs with each deep ragged exhale...

My footsteps labored...The path below my feet like glass. Each step wrong... but I continue on... I dont see a way out anymore... the light at the end use to shine... the blood leaking from my soul draining my ability to think within reason... On my knee's... My actions...and those reactions...Here I am in all my Bane... The walls closing...

I call on HIS name....

Pro's, Con's and Just My Opinion...

Pro's, Con's and Just My Opinion...

When seeking publishing for a book there are so many companies that offer a wide array of services. It really all depends on the services that you are looking to be provided.

Publishing a book means... Editing, Proofreading, Printing, Distribution, .... etc.

I thought this process was going to be crazy expensive.

You see with these smaller Lesser known companies they do not have the resources ( financially or professionally) to back a project of that magnitude on the companies dollar... Or at least not solely on the companies dollar. This is more of risk for YOU then THEM.

This is why it is very important to wade VERY carefully when seeking and choosing a company. When the cost of production can cost the Author anywhere between $800.00 - $3,000.00 and in some cases more. This is NOT a small amount for someone who is not a seasoned Author.. in the terms of they have not built up a fan base. These are people that are working regular jobs, taking care of families and paying bills. A sum of money in the hundreds in not chump change. My advice is to proceed with caution and as I stated before ask alot of questions. You want to know EXACTLY what that amount money you are paying out is covering. Although this is a small company that you are trusting with your work and forming a partnership with. They have the skills and know how to take you further then you would have made it in a big industry as a new fish.

You don't want to jump on the first opportunity. You want to RESEARCH the offer that is being made to you.

Then there are companies that will work with you for less than $500.00 to maybe Nada... If this is a smaller company. You want to know EXACTLY the terms of the contract.

A BIG tip from me is... Ask who owns the rights of the Manuscript. While with the company and when the contract expires. For ANY company you may aligned yourself with....

With a larger company they have more resources to back your work. They will INVEST the funds into the production. Since this is a larger risk for THEM then YOU.

This is why they usually work with authors that have a Fan base and have two to more books in publication. With them they may work with a lesser known and make an investment but they want to ensure that they are in line to recoup their funds and make a profit.

You want to read the terms of this contract WELL... you see it will be written to make sure they(the company) are getting a GOOD return on their investment. You just want to ensure that you're being compensated as well.

Which will be more attainable with a Larger company. ONLY because they have a further reach and longer working relationship in the literary world. They have a tight roaster of talent that has years in the industry.

.... They all started somewhere though. They ALL have PRO's and CON's. It really is just up to You, Research, and Prayer.

I feel Cheated...

CHEATING is ANYTHING you do behind my back that you KNOW will make me unhappy/pissed if I find out! It is NOT always the act of intimacy. It is the BLATANT disregard for my position in your life. The dismissal of my feelings. The fact you took time to cover your tracks or that you believed you didn't need to cover anything because what you are doing/done is NOT cheating.....CHEATING is NOT always about sex/ an outside relationship. You can be CHEATING me out of feeling comfortable in our relationship/friendship. Making me feel as though I have to play detective/police officer/ inspector. When ALL I want to do is be your Lover/friend/ partner. CHEATING allows others to disrespect me. Because you do. Why should they respect me if your actions subtle or loud show such disrespect. If you have at any point displayed these types of actions... They may have been forgiven. However you may need to be patient with the person that felt CHEATED!
